We are excited to announce that South King County Valley Police Agencies (Renton, Auburn, Des Moines, Federal Way, Kent, Tukwila, Port of Seattle) have partnered to host their first Diversity in Law Enforcement: Career Workshop!

Police departments across South King County are seeking qualified candidates from diverse backgrounds who may be interested in pursuing a meaningful career in law enforcement but are unsure how the hiring process works. In this workshop, participants will learn about the benefits of a career in law enforcement, how to navigate the hiring process and have the chance to connect with members in the profession.

Workshop participants will begin the day with various guest speakers and then will rotate through four breakout sessions.

Background Investigations
Written & Physical Testing
Training and More!

Workshop Schedule:

Check-In & Continental Breakfast - 8:15 a.m.
Workshop Begins - 9:00 a.m.
Lunch - 12:30 p.m.
Workshop Ends - 3:30 p.m.
