We have a couple of fundraising opportunities this week and on Sunday to help support The Salvation Army Renton Corps Youth Music program and to support our involvement in The Salvation Army Western Territorial Encore Competition in June.
- The first opportunity is our Macaron fundraiser. CLICK HERE TO VIEW THE order form to pre-order macarons. These are amazing and you can’t stop with just one, so we have options available for you to order a couple dozen. These are amazing gifts to give to others or reward yourself. You will be given a date for next week to pick them up from The Salvation Army Renton Corps at 720 S. Tobin St. Renton, WA. Please e-mail your order to Major Angelina Koenig at Angelina.Koenig@usw.salvationarmy.org by 5:00p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2022.
- The second opportunity is to attend our ENCORE Music Concert and baked goods/beef jerky fundraising event. You are invited to join us this coming Sunday, May 22, 2022 at The Salvation Army Renton Corps. The concert will be at 720 S. Tobin St., Renton 98057 at 2:00 p.m.
Peter Koenig will be representing the Renton Corps and the Northwest Division at The Salvation Army Western Territorial ENCORE (Music & Performing Arts) competition. He will be performing in the piano and brass solo categories. Our goal is to raise $1,500.
During this fundraising event Peter will be performing various solos on both the piano and trombone. He will have a few other musicians joining him as they give us all an afternoon of music enjoyment. We will also be selling some amazing baked goods and homemade beef jerky (all natural ingredients and fresh).
We are asking for a suggested donation of $10 to attend this concert. If you are not able to donate $10, don’t let that stop you from joining us. Music is a gift that we want to be shared with all.
If you are not able to join us in person, please join us at The Salvation Army Renton Corps Facebook page- @SalvationArmyRenton as it will be live streamed. During the event we will have a link and other donation options available to you.
If you are sending a check via regular mail, please let us know so we can include your donation in the totals we announce at the end of the concert. Please help support The Salvation Army Renton Corps youth music programs.
